The roof tiles of our historic Mission Revival building were removed and reinstalled to allow for new waterproofing and underlayment. A majority of the existing tiles were preserved and original clay tiles were carefully sourced to replace any broken tiles. Project completed in August 2025.
We are asking the court to enforce clear requirements of CEQA and the City's own ordinances that protect the historical integrity of the St. James Square Historic District. For more information, see the press release located in the "News" tab. December 2020.

A professional landscaping company has been contracted by the Foundation and began weekly maintenance in November, 2018. Extensive tree trimming has also been completed, and new plantings and other upgrades are scheduled for Spring of 2019.
The flat portion of the roof was recently repaired and is under review for replacement.
The parking lot was re-coated and striped in late 2017.
A new entry door in the Mission Revival style was replicated and installed at the building's entrance from the parking lot.
In Summer of 2015 entry gates and wrought iron fences were repainted.
The parking lot, which has been resurfaced several times, will require complete replacement in the near future. Funds are currently being raised for this project.
